We figured it was time for a quick post to thank everyone that’s talked about us, sent in feedback and subscribed to our service in these first days since we launched. It is extremely rewarding to know we built something people like to use.

This being said, how (and what) can we do better? What can we do to blow you out of the water? If there’s anything we’ve been missing, do let us know.

Our feedback channels are always open. You can email us directly, or use the “send feedback” link on the bottom of any Goplan application page to tell us something’s wrong or to send in suggestions. We act on feedback almost immediately, and although our email response isn’t immediate as well (it’s been a ton of email from you guys and we hate automatic replies), you can be sure everything sent in is read and acted-on.

I noticed that you create a folder out of the project name that gets added to the goplan URL. What happens if two companies have the same project name?

I’m loving your free version and I’ll be looking to upgrade soon.

PS. Will you be creating a support forum?

Steven: when you create a project, you define an alias - which is what you call a “folder”. Aliases can never collide (Goplan will warn you if an alias is unavailable, and you can pick a new one). We are considering other solutions to this problem, but we’re in the thousands of projects mark and thats not a “huge” problem now - but rest assured we will think about that.

We are considering a support forum, yes. It is important for the user community to learn from how others use the product (and it’s also good to use as a reference). We’ll be looking at forum solutions - expect one up very soon.
